Meeting & Study Rooms

We are happy to provide meeting, conference, and study rooms for public use when not in use for library activities. 

Meeting Rooms

  • 2nd Floor Meeting Room (Maximum 85)  
  • 1st Floor Bumphrey Room (Maximum 25) 

To reserve a space for your meeting or event, call the Information Desk at 330.673.4414 ext. 3 or complete a Meeting Room Application. Return completed applications to the Adult Services Manager, Kristen Pool kristen.pool@kentfreelibrary.org or fax to 330.673.0226). The person responsible for the booking will need to provide their library card number.

Use of meeting rooms is free, however fees for set-up and use of the kitchenette may apply. A new application is required for each reservation. A meeting room reservation is not complete until the reservation is approved by the library.

 

Conference and Study Rooms

The following spaces are first-come, first-served or may be reserved up to one week in advance:

Conference Room

  • Wiland Conference Room (Maximum 10)

Study Rooms

  • 1st Floor A (Maximum 2)
  • 1st Floor B (Maximum 4)
  • 2nd Floor A (Maximum 2)
  • 2nd Floor B (Maximum 2) 

General Guidelines:

Groups may not hold private social events, campaign activities, or religious services. Meeting rooms may not be used to conduct sales or to promote commercial products or services. No admission fees may be charged; fundraising, collections, or requests for donations are not permitted. No items may be sold, solicited, or exchanged. All meetings must be open to the public.

Applicants must be 21 years or older. Minors (Ages 17 and under) are not permitted to use rooms without adult supervision.
